Nordic Walking is fitness walking using specially designed poles to work the upper body while walking.
Nordic Walking offers a gentle, yet very efficient aerobic workout and is an easy way to improve your physical condition irrespective of age or fitness level. If you want to give Nordic Walking a try, we recommend you to take an introductory class. Even though Nordic Walking is not complicated, there are some essential basics one must learn in order to achieve the maximum health benefits. Lessons usually take between one and two hours and Nordic walking poles are provided. All you need are trainers and comfortable clothes to keep you dry and warm outdoors.
